The Design Team is made up of people from various Schattdecor sites who work together on a daily basis. As part of this recruitment drive, we are open to hiring candidates from across Europe.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Trend and material research within an international team
  • Supporting projects from the initial idea through to the final décor implementation
  • Presenting new trends, materials and concepts to international customers and providing active design consultancy
  • Business travel and visits to trade fairs in Germany and abroad
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with international customers, suppliers and manufacturers
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing and Décor Development

YOUR PROFILE

  • Successfully completed university degree in Design / Creative Arts, e.g. Textile Design, Graphic Design, Product Design or a comparable field
  • Professional experience in a comparable position - ideally at least 5 years
  • Confident use of Creative Cloud applications - particularly Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Willingness to travel for business trips, trade fairs and customer visits in Germany and abroad
  • Very good command of German and English - both written and spoken
  • Passion for innovative design and identifying new trends
  • Enjoyment of presenting design ideas and trends
  • Enthusiasm for working in an international team and with customers worldwide
  • High level of creativity and strong conceptual skills
